Media Lift Ticket Policy

Squaw Valley Ski Corp. welcomes members of the media to come and visit. A personal visit is a great way for you to get better acquainted with the mountain and Squaw Valley's wide variety of facilities. We'll be happy to show you around, and answer all your questions. If necessary, we can arrange for tours, models, interviews and photographers. Squaw Valley extends complimentary skiing and snowboarding privileges to members of the media that come to Squaw Valley on assignment, and to those journalists that utilize Squaw Valley's press kits, press releases, and snow reports for publication and media exposure. For those that are visiting, but not on assignment, Squaw Valley offers a $49 discounted ticket. Sorry, children, spouses and other guests are not eligible for complimentary and discounted passes. Please note that Squaw Valley USA does not own any lodging properties and therefore we are unable to provide complimentary accommodations.

We'll be happy to take you on a tour and answer all your questions. If necessary, we can arrange for other activities and interviews as well. Please fill out our Media Visit Request Form and fax it back to 530-581-7106

To arrange for complimentary lift tickets please follow the following guidelines:

• Please fax your request using the media visit request form at least 24-hours in advance to 530-581-7106 (Attention: Savannah Cowley) or email it to savannah@squaw.com. Please include a detailed letter of assignment from the publication or media outlet that includes the date of your visit, a contact phone number as well as any additional requests, (interviews, supplemental information, etc…) so that we may expedite your request. For those that do not provide 24-hour notice, we cannot promise that passes will be available.
• Your tickets will be available for pick-up at the Corporate Office or in the Special Ticket Office. We will let you know where. Please plan on presenting valid media identification.
