Nightlife
The apres scene at Squaw Valley USA is as legendary as the mountain itself and with a bevy of new hotspots, it just keeps getting better. Squaw Valley nightlife is nothing like the scene in the big city, but in a ski town that's kind of the point. You go away to get away, right? To blend with the locals, throw on a hoodie and leave your designer digs at home. Squaw Valley nightlife provides visitors with an escape from their normal evening outings, but is sure to deliver the same hangover in the morning.
Terrain Parks and Pipes
Throughout the 80's and 90's the creation of terrain parks coincided with the quickly progressing sport of snowboarding. Although man-made features were originally built for snowboarders, terrain parks have revolutionized the sport of skiing as well. In the practice of catering to both skiers and riders boaststhree terrain parks: Belmont, Central Park at Riviera, and Mainline Park spanning over 117 acres. Each terrain park has it's own chairlift which makes for easy access and quick skill progression.
